Justin Staples has an conventional reason to oppose Donald Trump. Well, he at least has a reason to oppose one of Trump’s hotels.

According to TMZ, the former Illinois defensive end and current Tennessee Titans linebacker is being sued by Trump’s Chicago hotel for failing to pay the full price of their wedding bill.

TMZ reported that Staples and his wife, Amber, only paid $30,000 of the $79,484 bill for the June wedding. But the lawsuit indicated that something didn’t go according to plan.

The lawsuit reportedly said that the Trump International Hotel and Tower cut the fee of the wedding by $5,062.13 at the end of the reception. It’s unknown what the reason was for the drop in charge.

Staples’ agent told TMZ that the couple paid the entire amount asked and that the lawsuit was “baseless.”

A Chicago native, Staples went undrafted in 2013 after he racked up 62 tackles, three forced fumbles and 2.5 sacks at Illinois. He signed with the Cleveland Browns but was ultimately cut. Staples spent the last three seasons with the Tennessee Titans.
