Nebraska has vivid memories of watching Jordan Canzeri run wild in Lincoln last year.
It’s early, but the Huskers already got a glimpse of another Iowa tailback dicing them up.
Akrum Wadley took an inside handoff, stopped on a dime and left the Nebraska defense behind. The Hawkeye tailback took this run 75 yards to the house for the game’s first score:
Nebraska hasn’t been able to move the ball very much with a hampered Tommy Armstrong at quarterback. If Wadley breaks off a few more of those, Armstrong will be asked to do a lot more on Friday.
