That Under Armour money is being put to good use.

Maryland released its plans for the Center for Sports Medicine, Health and Human Performance.

The Terrapin Performance Center will be complete with with a full-size indoor football field, two outdoor fields, and advanced strength, conditioning and hydrotherapy centers. That will be the main component of the Cole Field House project.

Here’s a look at the plans for the new facility, as narrated by Maryland graduate and SportsCenter host Scott Van Pelt:

The new facility will be a research center for investigation into the treatment of sports related conditions, including neuroscience and, specifically, the effects and consequences of traumatic brain injury.

Maryland expects the facility to be “unmatched in Division I sports.”
