It looks like Josh Ross is making progress with his injury from earlier in the year.

A junior linebacker, Ross was injured in the loss to Wisconsin and has been out of action since that game. While his status for game action is still uncertain, head coach Jim Harbaugh announced Monday night that it’s possible Ross could return to practice in Week 9.

Ross has 18 total tackles this season after putting up 54 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and a sack as a sophomore. Fortunately, Cameron Mcgrone has played well with 30 tackles, six tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks in Ross’ place. Still, Michigan would love to have everyone available for Notre Dame.
