Michigan is now booked through 2020.

That was the result of the Wolverines adding three future opponents to fill out their future 2018 and 2019 non-conference schedules.

Michigan announced on Thursday that it added matchups with Western Michigan (at Michigan, Sept. 8, 2018), Middle Tennessee (at Michigan, Aug. 31, 2019) and Army (at Michigan, Sept. 7, 2019).

Apparently the Middle Tennessee matchup will cost Michigan a healthy chunk of change:

The Wolverines are 6-0 against WMU, they’ve never played Middle Tennessee and Army actually holds a 5-4 advantage in the series against Michigan.

With those matchups in place, here’s what Michigan’s future non-conference schedule looks like the next three years:

  • 2017: Sept. 2, vs. Florida (at Arlington, TX), Sept. 9 vs. Cincinnati, Sept. 16 vs. Air Force
  • 2018: Sept. 1 at Notre Dame, Sept. 8 vs. Western Michigan, Sept. 15 vs. SMU
  • 2019: Aug. 31 vs. Middle Tennessee, Sept. 7 vs. Army, Oct. 26 vs. Notre Dame

And just in case you forgot, here’s what Michigan has in the works beyond 2019:

2020: Sept. 5 at Washington, Sept. 12 vs. Ball State, Sept. 19 vs. Virginia Tech
2021: Sept. 11 at Virginia Tech, Sept. 18 vs. Washington
2022: Sept. 10 vs. UCLA
2023: Sept. 2 at UCLA
2024: Aug. 31 vs. Texas
2025: Sept. 6 at Oklahoma
2026: Sept. 12 vs. Oklahoma
2027: Sept. 4 at Texas
