Alex Hornibrook is expected to play 'some plays' for Florida State this week
Alex Hornibrook did many things well at Wisconsin.
Badger fans can tell you that. He’s thrown the third-most amount of passing TD in Wisconsin’s history. That’s great.
But Badger fans can also tell you the limitations that he has. The inconsistency. And coming into his senior season, fans weren’t exactly thrilled that Hornibrook would be back for yet another year.
Well, Hornibrook decided to transfer, which shocked many. He transferred to Florida State, which was also an interesting decision.

Hornibrook hasn’t played a down in the first three weeks of the season. But that might all change in Week 4. Seminoles coach Willie Taggart spoke to this media this week about Hornibrook:
“We have some plays and things where we want to be able to get Alex in, let him run some of those plays,” Taggart told reporters. “Hopefully we get a chance to do that.”
We’ll have to wait and see how Hornibrook gets utilized, but it doesn’t sound like Hornibrook will start. The former Badger may come in at certain spots in the game.
