Purdue’s D.J. Knox had quite the game against Ohio State, and he has received a bit of national recognition for his performance.

Knox was a big part of the Boilermakers’ offense when taking on the No. 2 ranked Buckeyes. He carried the ball 16 times for 128 yards and 3 TDs Saturday night. That is good for 8 YPC as Ohio State was unable to slow down the senior running back. Knox also added a catch for 26 yards.

Following his big night and the huge upset of Ohio State, Knox was named the Walter Camp Offensive Player of the Week for Week 8. The award honors one offensive and one defensive player each week. Knox is the first Purdue player to receive the award since 2011.
