Penn State WR DeAndre Thompkins joined an elite group in Saturday’s game against Kent State.

The Nittany Lions offense is having its way against the Golden Flashes, and Thompkins has been one of the stars of the game. He has two long receptions, and one of them was a 40-yard score from QB Trace McSorley.

It is a breakout game for Thompkins this season, and the performance helped him reach a special career milestone. Thompkins has now gone over 1,000 receiving yards for his career. According to Penn State Football, he is the 31st player in Nittany Lions history to reach the mark.
