Last week, Rutgers coach Chris Ash kept who would start at quarterback close to the vest. But he is not being as coy this week with his decision.

After starting last week against Illinois, Giovanni Rescigno will start once again for the Scarlet Knights when they take on the Purdue Boilermakers, Ash stated on his radio show Wednesday night.

Rescigno played well enough to earn his second straight start by throwing for 89 yards and rushing for 41 in a 35-24 triumph for Illinois.

Rutgers ranks last in the B1G and 121st nationally in pass offense, totaling just 141.3 yards-per-game through the air.
