Michigan fourth-year junior wide receiver Maurice Ways announced his plans to play a fifth year elsewhere as a graduate transfer on Wednesday.

Ways appeared in seven games as a reserve receiver in 2017. For his career, Ways made eight receptions for 71 yards.

Ways is the fourth Michigan player to make such an announcement this week, joining quarterbacks Wilton Speight and Alex Malzone and fellow receiver Drake Harris.

Once he graduates, he’ll be eligible to play at another Football Bowl Subdivision immediately next season.
