Recruits coming out of high school seem to change their mind more than ever.

It’s either that, or there is more coverage regarding high school recruits now more than ever. Regardless, it’s easy for a recruit to commit to a school, then decommit and eventually commit elsewhere, or even go back to the school they originally chose.

For class of 2017 running back Jonathan Taylor, a three-star recruit and the top-ranked running back out of the state of New Jersey, he decommitted from Rutgers last night, according to 247 Sports and re-opened his recruitment.

According to 247 Sports’ Ryan Lance, Taylor “recently visited Wisconsin on an Official Visit and it’s been noted that the Wisconsin staff has been making a strong push for Taylor since his visit two weeks ago. Wisconsin is now his Crystal Ball favorite with 10 of his 12 picks coming in for the Badgers.”
