Wisconsin picks up commitment from four-star Ohio receiver
Wisconsin isn’t known for loading up on four- our five-star recruits. The Badgers’ recruiting rankings rarely match their on-field performance.
But on Wednesday, the Badgers did land a four-star skill player.
Four-star Ohio receiver Danny Davis announced that he’s coming to Madison in 2017. He even signed a Wisconsin helmet at his announcement ceremony.

The Springfield, Ohio recruit chose the Badgers instead of the likes of Kentucky and West Virginia. He’s the No. 31 receiver and No. 218 player overall in the 2017 class (247sports).
The 6-3, 190-pound recruit took official visits to Kentucky, West Virginia and Wisconsin leading up to signing day, and ultimately rolled with the Badgers.
Davis will join Kayden Lyles as the lone four-star recruits of Wisconsin’s 2017 class. The Badgers jumped all the way up from No. 47 to No. 40 in the 247sports class rankings.
