Bill Belichick stares into soul of reporter following Antonio Brown question

Released by the New England Patriots after just 11 days on September 20, Antonio Brown appeared to announce his retirement from the National Football League on Twitter on Sunday:

Will not be playing in the @NFL anymore these owners can cancel deals do whatever they want at anytime we will see if the @NFLPA hold them accountable sad they can just void guarantees anytime going on 40m 2 months will see if they pay up !

One of the most productive wide receivers in the NFL over the last nine years, the Patriots released Brown after multiple women accused him of sexual assault and threatening text messages to one of his accusers surfaced.

Known for his laser focus, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was asked about Brown prior to Sunday’s game vs. the New York Jets at Gillette Stadium. Not surprisingly, the six-time Super Bowl-winning coach wasn’t interested in answering the question:

A Miami, Florida native, Brown starred for the Central Michigan Chippewas from 2007-09, catching 305 passes for 3,199 yards and 22 touchdowns. Leaving school after his junior year, he was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft.

Central Michigan’s all-time leader in receptions, Brown’s 3,199 receiving yards rank fourth in program history.
