A lot of people are upset with the process of the College Football Committee after their official rankings came out.

Some are clamoring for the playoff to expand, and others are clamoring for teams to just stop getting special treatment from the Committee.

On Monday evening, FOX analyst Tim Brando shared his thoughts on the committee and he didn’t hold back one bit.

When asked if he knew what was going to happen, Brando admitted to the CFP being incredibly predictable:

“I didn’t have to watch it to know what was going to go down,” said Brando. “We knew, and we know every year, how predictable this thing is…they were going to make sure Alabama and Clemson didn’t play in the semifinals.”

He also sent a message to Texas A&M fans after they were put at No. 5 on Sunday’s rankings even though people thought they deserved to be in the CFP:

“I will just say this to Aggie fans across the board, to 12th man nation: now you know how it feels to be Coastal Carolina, how it feels to be Cincinnati,” said Brando.

Finally, he talked about how the committee purposely stacks the teams from 5-8 so that the offseason argument of expanding to eight teams will not hold much water. After all, who would want to see a three-loss Florida get another game at No. 7?

“They even do it there,” Brando said, explaining how the Committee gerrymanders with picks 5-8. “To limit the argument about those teams that they won’t ever consider. I mean, I guess we’re fortunate that they at least allowed Cincinnati to be in the 8-hole. It is past the point of just being flawed, it is corrupt.”

We’ll have to see if the CFP expands to eight next season or in future seasons after that.
