B1G willing to explore adding more cities to host conference tournament
This is only a way to justify having it in the larger cities/tv markets more often. Indianapolis is the perfect place for it, Chicago barely even notices it's there. It wouldn't be there except that BTN is headquartered there (and it's a big tv market).
I'm not trying to be sarcastic when I say that the primary result of having it at Madison Square Garden was that it cost the fans about twice as much to attend.
