Tom Allen’s success on the recruiting trail does not appear to be slowing down anytime soon. Monday afternoon, Indiana picked up another major pledge from an in-state offensive lineman.

DJ Moore, a 3-star offensive lineman out of Fort Wayne, verbally committed to the Hoosiers on Monday, making his announcement with a post on Twitter. He held more than a dozen offers, picking Indiana over Ohio State, Oregon, Purdue, Penn State, Arizona State, Cincinnati, Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas A&M and others.

Over the last two weeks, Moore had taken visits to both Indiana and Purdue. Bloomington appears to have stood out, as he had no trouble committing to IU.

Moore is the 12th player of the 2022 class to commit to Indiana. The 6-foot-5, 315-pound interior offensive lineman ranks just outside the Top 400 nationally and is listed as the No. 10 player out of the state. His pledge bumps IU inside the Top 25 of the national recruiting rankings per 247Sports Composite.

Allen and his staff have done an excellent job recruiting the state so far. Moore is the third in-state prospect to commit and all three rank as Top 10 prospects from Indiana.
