Indiana adds transfer defensive lineman from Cal
With the Early Signing Period open and NLI letters rolling through early Wednesday morning, Indiana slipped a bit of news into the morning chaos: the Hoosiers have added a transfer defensive lineman from Cal.
JH Tevis, a 4-year defensive end for the Golden Bears, is coming to Bloomington.

Tevis entered the portal on Dec. 6 after appearing in every game this season for Cal. He had 37 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 3 pass breakups, and a sack. For his career, Tevis appeared in 20 games and had 60 tackles, 8.5 TFLs, and 3 sacks.
He’s a former 3-star recruit from the 2018 class. He took a redshirt year in 2018, then appeared in just 4 games each over the next 2 seasons (Cal only played 4 in 2020 due to COVID). The 6-foot-4, 285-pounder could play 2 more seasons with the Hoosiers.
