Earlier this week, Indiana was reportedly hiring from within to fill its vacancy at offensive coordinator. The Hoosiers were supposed to be promoting Nick Sheridan, the team’s tight ends coach.

On Friday morning, it became official that Sheridan was indeed becoming the team’s new OC:
#Indiana has made these moves official now. Tom Allen: "Nick is one of the bright, young offensive minds in our game." Also, #Hoosiers RB coach Mike Hart will be elevated to associate head coach. https://t.co/tdeNpuQxDy

As Feldman tweeted, Sheridan is officially the OC and Grant Heard is being promoted to become the team’s co-OC. Heard finished his third season at Indiana in 2019 as being the team’s passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach.
For Sheridan, he finished his third season with the Hoosiers this past year as well. He was the tight ends coach this past season and worked with the quarterbacks in 2017 and 2018.
Feldman also noted that Mike Hart — the former Michigan running back and Indiana running backs coach — now holds the title of associate head coach.
