Mike Woodson provided an update on senior forward Trayce Jackson-Davis, who has been dealing with a thumb injury and missed Indiana’s game earlier this week.

Jackson-Davis played in Friday’s game against Jackson State with limited minutes, scoring 11 points and securing 5 rebounds in 19 minutes played.

“He didn’t play a lot of minutes today,” Woodson said. “We’ll go back and assess where he is, but he’s got these next few days to get ready for (UNC).”

Jackson-Davis is off to a hot start this season, averaging 20 points and 8 rebounds, leading Indiana to a 6-0 start to the season. He is looking to follow up a solid junior season where he averaged 18 points and 8 rebounds.

Indiana beat Jackson State 91-51. The Hoosiers will be undefeated with a matchup against North Carolina next up on the schedule.

That game will be played as a part of the ACC/B1G Challenge. Indiana and North Carolina tip off Nov. 30 at 9:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.
