Talented freshman CB leaving Hoosiers for 'personal reasons'
A talented Indiana freshman is choosing to leave the program, head coach Tom Allen said on Monday.
Elijah Rodgers, a former 3-star prospect out of South Carolina, is leaving IU for “personal reasons,” Allen said on Monday after the team concluded practice. Indianapolis Star reporter Zach Osterman tweeted out the information.

Rodgers was ranked as the No. 140 cornerback in the 2018 recruiting class and was a top 30 player out of South Carolina. In addition to Indiana, Rodgers received offers from Purdue, Clemson, Louisville, Florida State and South Carolina.
There was no further explanation regarding Rodgers’ decision to leave the program.
