George Kittle, former Iowa TE, expected to miss second straight game for 49ers, per report
George Kittle is expected to miss his second straight NFL game for the San Francisco 49ers Sunday. The star tight end has been dealing with a groin injury since preseason and missed last week’s games against the Chicago Bears.
Now, he’s expected to be out against the Seattle Seahawks, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Kittle is a necessary piece for the 49ers if they truly want to live up to their playoff potential. San Francisco looked bad against the Bears last week, though admittedly in a torrential downpour.
Second-year quarterback Trey Lance needs all the help he can get right now. It seems he will have to wait another week or so to see his all-pro tight end.
