Iowa received some great news on the recruiting front Tuesday.

Four-star cornerback D.J. Johnson gave his verbal pledge to the Hawkeyes, picking Iowa over 13 other offers. He made his announcement via Twitter.

Back in June, Johnson had narrowed his schools to Iowa and Notre Dame. He also held #B1G offers from Indiana, Minnesota, Purdue, Ohio State, Illinois and Penn State.

Johnson is the No. 4 recruit out of Indiana and is ranked as the N0. 29 corner in the 2018 class. He becomes the 12th commitment for Iowa.
