Jeshaun Jones was inside the stadium for Maryland’s spring game on Saturday afternoon, but was not a participant in the scrimmage. Battling some injuries, the wide receiver is looking to get healthy before the start of the 2021 season.

As one of the weapons Maryland has on the offensive side of the ball heading into the year, Jones was asked about his approach to 2021. His goal is pretty simple: just continue to get better.

“Just to build off of that year, really. That’s it,” Jones said. “Build and get better and work on the things I think I could’ve done better.”

Jones played in four of Maryland’s five games during the 2020 season, bouncing back after suffering a season-ending ACL injury in 2019. He had 11 catches for 181 yards, with 103 of those yards coming in the Terrapins’ overtime win over Minnesota. He also had 1 touchdown.

As a freshman in 2018, Jones appeared in all 12 games for the Terps and made two starts. He totaled 271 receiving yards, 182 rushing yards and scored 8 total touchdowns. He burst onto the B1G scene in his first collegiate game against Texas, recording a passing, rushing and receiving touchdown in Maryland’s win over the Longhorns.
