Maryland ended a rough season over the weekend, but the hits keep coming to Mike Locksley’s squad.

This time, Jeff Ermann with Inside MD Sports is reporting that defensive back Fofie Bazzie is entering the transfer portal. Bazzie was originally a three-star recruit in the 2017 class that committed under head coach D.J. Durkin.

Bazzie was a redshirt sophomore this season, and he posted four tackles in limited action.

The list of players leaving the Terrapins this offseason is already up to four, not counting seniors. Offensive linemen brothers Breyon and Brandon Gaddy entered the transfer portal Monday, and veteran running back Anthony McFarland indicated he is declaring for the NFL Draft on Tuesday.

Head coach Mike Locksley is already trying to improve on a three-win season this year. That job will likely be a bit tougher without McFarland, and he is now dealing with the added issues of multiple portal entries.
