Report: Maryland to be without key cornerback, defensive lineman for Friday's matchup vs. Illinois
Maryland will be without a few players tonight ahead of their B1G opener on the road against Illinois.
Starting CB Deonte Banks and DL Mosiah Nasili-Kite did not travel to Champaign with undisclosed injuries.

In his 3 years with the Terrapins, Banks has 45 tackles, 3 pass deflections and 1 interception. Nasili-Kite, in 2 years with the Terps, has 17 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 4 sacks and 1 pass deflection.
The Terrapins are 2-0 on the season as they have beaten regional rival West Virginia 30-24 in week 1 and beat FCS and HBCU Howard 62-0.
Friday will be the Terrapins’ first road test on the season.
Illinois is 1-2 on the season and have a win against B1G opponent Nebraska and losses vs. UTSA and at Virginia.
