Cade McNamara led the Michigan Wolverines to their first victory of the season, a 51-7 win over Colorado State.

Though he’ll now be on the bench against Hawaii thanks to Jim Harbaugh’s unique (and biblical, mind you) quarterback carousel, McNamara is letting his teammates — and specifically, his linemen — know that he appreciates the relatively clean win from last Saturday.

In the past, perhaps a steak dinner would do. In the wild, wild west of the NIL, though, McNamara was able to show appreciation to his linemen in style.

Those are some sweet Wolverine-themed drivers, and it’s clear that McNamara is taking full advantage of the NIL deal he signed with Ping over the summer.

McNamara was sacked only once in the opener against Colorado State, and the Rams were only able to notch two quarterback hurries on the whole afternoon.

The Wolverines will now be tasked with protecting J.J. McCarthy, who will get the start against Hawaii in Week 2.
