For everyone doubting Michigan, Joel Klatt has a guarantee for you. The FOX Sports analyst believes the Wolverines will be a top 10 team at the end of the 2017 season.

Klatt made an appearance on “The Herd” with Colin Cowherd and was asked to provide three “guarantees” for the college football season. One of those guarantees was that Michigan would hit the 10-win mark for a third-straight season and would finished the year ranked in the top 10.

“They are not too young because, regardless of situation or depth, Jim Harbaugh wins,” Klatt said on the show. “His teams compete hard, they’re fundamentally sound and this team at Michigan is very talented. And I think the depth and inexperience gets overblown.”

While Michigan was ranked No. 11 in the preseason AP top 25, the Wolverines are regarded as too young and inexperienced to compete for a B1G or national title. But Klatt doesn’t believe that’s actually the case in Ann Arbor.

“Yes, they’re one of the more inexperienced teams in the country,” he said. “They’ve got Jim Harbaugh, they’ve got their quarterback back, they’ll be fundamentally sound, and they’ll be more experienced on the defensive side for Don Brown, their defensive coordinator, than people like to give them credit for.”

Klatt also guaranteed that Alabama would win the SEC and get into the College Football Playoff and that USC QB Sam Darnold would not win the Heisman Trophy.
