Michigan’s already-loaded recruiting class just got even better.

Sunday night, 4-star linebacker Anthony Solomon made the decision to flip from Miami to Michigan, adding another highly-touted prospect to Jim Harbaugh’s 2019 recruiting class. He made the announcement via Twitter.

“In life the only constant is change and with that thought and a heavy heart I announce to the University of Miami that it is in my best interest to decommit from the Hurricanes,” Solomon wrote. “I am now committed to the University of Michigan. Make no mistake this is the hardest decision I’ve made. Throughout the recruitment cycle, the University of Michigan, Coach Harbaugh and Coach Brown have never given up on me. I will sign with Michigan.

Solomon is a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and is ranked as one of the top 30 players out of his home state, according to 247Sports. He’s also a top 10 outside linebacker in the 2019 class.

Michigan’s 2019 recruiting class ranks first in the B1G and No. 8 nationally. There are currently 25 prospects committed, 14 of which are 4-star talents.

The good news comes just days before the Early Signing Period, which begins on Wednesday, Dec. 19.
