There may be some built up frustration inside the Michigan locker room. It appears to have potentially boiled over into Twitter.

Michigan is coming off a 35-14 road loss to Wisconsin on Saturday, in what turned out to be a really disappointing showing from the Wolverines. In the game, UM’s passing attack struggled, as quarterbacks Shea Patterson and Dylan McCaffrey finished the afternoon completing just 17-of-42 attempts for 259 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.

After the game, fans took to Twitter and other social media outlets to vent their frustration about the loss. On individual in particular seemed to say something that resonated with Michigan wide receiver Nico Collins.

The tweet read, “I am starting to feel bad for Michigan fans. My buddy just sent me this. They deserve better. #Speedinspace #FireHarbaugh.”

The video in the post bellows shows a wide open Collins calling for the football. He didn’t get it. So, at some point after the game, Collins liked the tweet, even with the hashtag that read “Fire Harbaugh.”

Interesting.

Collins finished the day with three receptions for 66 yards. He has eight catches for 147 yards and a touchdown in Michigan’s first three games of the season.

Liking tweets on Twitter can be as harmless as having your thumb tap the screen in the wrong place at the wrong time. Or, perhaps there was some frustration built up behind Collins hitting the button on social media.

Either way, the fact that the #FireHarbaugh hashtag is in the tweet makes it all the more interesting.

Michigan needs to figure something out offensively, and fast. With games against Penn State, Michigan State, Iowa and Ohio State still remaining, they’ll need a better showing than what we’ve seen through three games.
