Michigan trolls Gators with 'Florida Man' post following blowout win
Michigan’s basketball team is rolling in the NCAA Tournament right now, and so is the athletic department’s social media game.
The Wolverines advanced to the Sweet Sixteen on Saturday, after registering a 64-49 victory over Florida in the Round of 32. It’s the third-straight year Michigan has advanced to the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament.
Not only did Michigan defeat Florida, the Wolverines held the Gators to their lowest point total of the season. And after the game, Michigan’s Twitter game felt the need to point that out, in hilarious fashion.
Michigan used the popular “Florida Man” phrase to promote its success on Twitter:

The “Florida Man” phrase has become pretty popular on social media. With so many bizarre news stories featuring the words “Florida Man,” it’s become somewhat of a trend. Michigan couldn’t help but take advantage.
Well played, Michigan. Well played.
