A former Michigan State offensive lineman has found a new home.

Thiyo Lukusa, a native of Traverse City, Michigan, is transferring to Arizona, where he’ll join the football team. He decided to step away from the Spartans’ football program in February.

Saturday night, Lukusa sent out the message on Twitter and Instagram announcing his decision.

Lukusa played in eight games on the offensive line in his freshman season and was a heavy favorite to start in the 2017 season. He decided to transferred out though, saying he “wasn’t in love with football.”
