The commitments continue to pour in for P.J. Fleck and company.

After a monstrous weekend on the recruiting trail — landing six commitments and moving up 13 spots in the national rankings — Minnesota has added another player to the 2020 class. On Monday, the Gophers received a commitment from three-star athlete Dylan McGill.

McGill, a native of Mesquite, Texas, made his announcement via Twitter on Monday evening. He becomes the 15th player to give his verbal commitment to the Gophers and is the seventh player to commit since the weekend.

“Thank you to my family, friends, and coaches that have been on this road with me from the beginning to now,” McGill wrote on Twitter. “I’m very thankful for this opportunity and to know dreams do come true Me being from a small town and looked for a way out to play bigger ball and have these opportunities is something God has to bless you with. Thank you for everything my family! With that being said I am committed to the University of Minnesota! Go Gophers!”

McGill is a three-star athlete out of Texas and had five total offers through the recruiting cycle. Minnesota was the only FBS program to offer the skilled athlete, with his other four offers coming from FCS programs Grambling State, Illinois State, Stephen F. Austin and Tennessee State.

With 15 players now verbally committed in the 2020 class, Minnesota ranks 24th nationally and fifth in the B1G.
