Minnesota's P.J. Fleck named finalist for Dodd Trophy Coach of the Year
Minnesota’s strong season has earned P.J. Fleck some national recognition.
This year, Fleck led the Gophers to 10 wins for the first time since 2003. He also has a chance to lead Minnesota to back-to-back bowl wins and win No. 11 on the season. That would give the Gophers 11 wins for the first time since 1904!
On Tuesday, the Dodd Trophy Coach of the Year Award unveiled its list of five finalists. Fleck is up for the award, along with four coaches from Power 5 schools.

Fan voting closes on Dec. 12. The winner of the Dodd Trophy will be announced during bowl week leading up to the Peach Bowl in Atlanta.
