Brandon Baker might end up being the next great B1G offensive lineman should he choose to commit to Nebraska in 2024. So far, he’s liked what he’s seen from the atmosphere of Lincoln.

According to reports, Baker visited the program this past weekend as part of junior day. Baker said that the fans were “different” but in a good way, showing love and support for every potential recruit looking to join Big Red in the future.

Listed as the No. 1 offensive recruit for the impending cycle, Baker will have a plethora of offers on the table whenever he chooses to commit. Offers include Nebraska, Oregon, UCLA, USC, Ohio State, Penn State and several other high-profile programs.

First-year coach Matt Rhule has been aggressive on the recruiting trail. After another underwhelming season in the B1G West, Rhule was hired to transform the program’s image, similar to his rebuildings of Temple and Baylor. That starts by winning on the recruiting trail, followed by establishing consistent talent.

The Huskers aren’t just in the running for Baker. No. 1 quarterback recruit Dylan Raiola also has been linked Nebraksa after decommitting from Ohio State earlier this year. Railola was also on campus with Baker visiting the program.
