A former Nebraska DL is headed back to the Midwest after being picked up off the Miami Dolphins practice squad.

Ben Stille, a former Cornhusker, will be headed to Cleveland after being signed by the Browns from Miami’s practice squad. Stille confirmed the announcement on Twitter, which was also announced by Nebraska Football.

Stille was a standout at Nebraska, where he recorded 24 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks while collecting B1G All-Freshman honors with the Cornhuskers in 2017. At the conclusion of his collegiate career, Stille had amassed 149 tackles, 29.5 tackles for loss, and 14.5 sacks for Nebraska, and had received two honorable mention nominations for the All-B1G team.

Although he went undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft, Stille was signed by the Dolphins to the practice squad. The DL was activated for one game, where he recorded 2 tackles against the Steelers.
