Nebraska’s 2018 recruiting class took a significant hit on Thursday night.

Manuel Allen, a four-star receiver who had committed to the Huskers back in April, flipped his commitment from Nebraska to Louisville. He sent out a tweet explaining his decision:

Allen is ranked as the No. 39 receiver and No. 182 overall for the 2018 recruiting class. He held 18 offers at the time of his commitment to Louisville.

The loss drops Nebraska down to 10 commits for the 2018 class, according to 247Sports. It’s still ranked in the top 25 nationally and fifth in the B1G.
