Jack Stoll is in a fight to make an NFL roster as a rookie, and he produced a strong showing in Thursday’s preseason action.

After signing with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent, Stoll faces an uphill climb to make the roster. The Eagles have a trio of talented veterans at the position that see regular playing time, and it will be tough for Stoll to beat one out to begin the season.

During Thursday’s game against the New England Patriots, Stoll finally had a chance to see some extended action. He led the Eagles in receiving with 4 catches for 33 yards, including a couple of tough runs after the catch.

On Friday, PFF College highlighted Stoll’s work. He graded out as the third-best rookie from Thursday’s action:

Can Stoll build on that performance? Philadelphia already has Dallas Goedert, Zach Ertz, and Richard Rodgers anchoring down the position.
