Nebraska not only notched its first B1G win of the season Saturday, but it also picked up a pretty significant all-time victory as well.

Saturday’s comeback win over Illinois marked win No. 900 all-time in school history for Nebraska. Not only is that impressive, but it makes the Cornhuskers just the fifth FBS program to hit that win total.

Nebraska joins Michigan and Ohio State as B1G programs to hit 900 wins. However, the Cornhuskers joined the B1G just recently in 2011. The other programs to hit the mark are Texas and Ohio State.

Obviously, the past few seasons have been rough for Nebraska as the Cornhuskers are looking to return to a bowl game for the first time since 2016. However, win No. 900 serves as a reminder that Nebraska truly is one of the all-time elite programs in the country.
