A former Nebraska defensive end could miss significant time after a knee surgery.

Randy Gregory, defensive end for Denver, is recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery and could be sidelined anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks depending on how his recovery goes, Adam Schefter reported Monday.

Gregory has tallied up 9 total tackles and 2 sacks before his season was put on pause with the surgery. The Broncos are off to a 2-2 start with new quarterback Russell Wilson and take on the Colts on Thursday.

Gregory played for Nebraska just two seasons in 2013 and 2014, racking up 120 total tackles and 17.5 sacks. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

Gregory spent 6 years with the Cowboys and joined Denver in 2022.
