Report: Nebraska punter enters NCAA transfer portal
Nebraska punter Caleb Lightbourn has entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal and will explore opportunities elsewhere, according to a report.
Sam McKewon of the Omaha World-Herald reported Monday night that Lightbourn placed his name in the transfer database and will look for opportunities to complete his career elsewhere. He could still return to Nebraska if that would be his best interest.
Lightbourn was Nebraska’s primary punter in 2016 and 2017 but split time with Isaac Armstrong last fall.

Never forget how Caleb handled being put in the very difficult position of punting in place of Sam Foltz. That was hard, and Lightbourn handled it well. #huskers
