The Big Ten Media Days are going on Thursday and Friday this week in Chicago and BTN is televising the event.

Head coach Scott Frost is entering his second season as the man in charge at Nebraska and one of the many things Frost talked about on Thursday was the Big Ten West division as a whole.

“The West hasn’t been as good because Nebraska hasn’t been as good as it should be,” he said.

Well, Frost put it out there. The West hasn’t been as good — which many would agree with. But, why? Part of why is because of Nebraska.

The Huskers haven’t been as dominant as they have been when the program was clicking many years ago. Frost knows that. However, he’s been in charge for a full season now.

He’s getting his players into his program. Sure, it will take a few years for Nebraska to look exactly the way he wants it to look. But, part of the blame could go his way as well.

After all, he said Nebraska hasn’t been as good as it should be, and part of the past now includes him. Frost of course knows this and will have a chance to turn things around — which many believe he and the Huskers will — this season.

Nebraska’s first game of the 2019 season starts at noon on Aug. 31 against South Alabama at Memorial Stadium.
