Nebraska has secured a commitment from one of the best offensive lineman in the 2020 recruiting class.

On Saturday afternoon, four-star offensive tackle Turner Corcoran gave his verbal pledge to the Huskers, following the team’s spring game. He becomes the third player to commit to Nebraska in the recruiting cycle.

Corcoran made his announcement public on Twitter shortly after the conclusion of the spring game.

“I would like to thank my family, coaches, teammates and close friends for pushing me to be the best I can possibly be. I would like to thank all the coaches who have recruited me up to this point,” Corcoran wrote. “I am proud to announce my commitment to the University of Nebraska. Thank you.”

At 6-foot-7, 280 pounds, the Lawrence, Kansas native is listed as the top player out of his home state and is the No. 6 offensive tackle in the 2020 class, according to 247Sports. Corcoran is almost tabbed as the No. 55 overall player in the cycle.

Corcoran becomes the third player to join the Huskers’ recruiting class and is currently the highest-rate prospect. He picked Nebraska over offers from 16 other programs, including Ohio State, Oklahoma, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin.
