Nebraska’s seven-game losing streak finally came to an end on Wednesday night, and there wasn’t anyone more excited about getting back in the win column than head coach Tim Miles.

The Huskers posted a 62-61 win over Minnesota on Wednesday in Lincoln, getting their first win in a month. James Palmer made a pair of free throws in the final second of the game to lift Nebraska to victory.

After the game, Miles was interviewed by Big Ten Network about the win. He couldn’t contain his excitement:

Miles has been under plenty of scrutiny during the last month, so Wednesday night’s win had to feel really rewarding, especially when it comes in thrilling fashion.

Palmer had a stellar performance all night, leading the Huskers with 24 points on 7-of-10 shooting. He also knocked down 8-of-10 free throw attempts.
