Rashawn Slater's NFL rookie season is off to an outstanding start
Northwestern has had some NFL rookies playing lights out in the pros so far, whether it be CB Greg Newsome II for the Cleveland Browns or Rashawn Slater OT for the Los Angeles Chargers.
The No. 13 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft has been nothing short of spectacular this season.
Slater has been excellent for the Chargers through 4 games. He has not given up a single sack protecting star QB Justin Herbert. He has played 176 passing snaps for the Chargers and hasn’t given up a sack.

The Chargers last night beat the Raiders on Monday Night Football 28-14.
The Chargers are one of the young breakout teams this season in the NFL; they are 3-1 on the season.
They have wins over the Washington Football Team, Kansas City Chiefs and the Las Vegas Raiders. Their lone loss is against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Los Angeles Chargers are in a 3-way tie atop the AFC West with the Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders. The Kansas City Chiefs are at the bottom of the division at 2-2.
The Chargers have wins over 2 division rivals at the moment against the Chiefs and the Raiders.
The Chargers are at home next week to take on the Cleveland Browns at 4:05 ET on CBS.
