Northwestern is getting a major addition to its 2020 recruiting class.

On Saturday afternoon, three-star offensive lineman Terah Edwards gave his verbal pledge to the Wildcats, becoming the sixth player to commit. The Groveport, Ohio native made his annoucement via Twitter.

“I would like to thank all the coaches for blessing me with an opportunity to play the game at the next level. I would also like to thank my parents, coaches, and teammates for making me the player I am today,” Edwards wrote. “With that being said, I’ll be spending my next 4-5 years at Northwestern University.”

At 6-foot-4, 310 pounds, Edwards is ranked as a top 40 player out of Ohio and is listed as the No. 56 offensive guard in the class.

In addition to Northwestern, Edwards received interest from programs Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Purdue, Indiana, Minnesota and Rutgers out of the B1G. In total, he had 23 offers according to 247Sports.

With Edwards’ commitment, Northwestern’s 2020 recruiting class now ranks seventh in the B1G and 25th nationally.
