WATCH: Northwestern's Hunter Johnson throws 50-yard bomb for first TD pass as a Wildcat
Hunter Johnson, a former 5-star QB recruit, started his career at Clemson.
During his freshman season, he threw two touchdown passes. He then transferred to Northwestern. After sitting last year, Johnson is now the starter in Evanston and his first TD pass as a Wildcat came in his second game with the team.

Johnson, against UNLV, found wide receiver J.J. Jefferson streaking down the field and the two connected for a 50-yard bomb.

Johnson can throw a nice ball, we could have figured that by how much hype he had as a recruit coming out of high school. As long as he has time to throw it, Northwestern’s offense should be able to throw it on teams.
