5-star recruit in 2023 includes Ohio State in Top 3 with two other blueblood programs
Ohio State does not yet have a commitment in the 2023 recruiting class, placing a heavy emphasis on the current cycle and its top-ranked status with the 2022 class. But the Buckeyes are in the mix for one of the best players of that 2023 cycle.
Wednesday, 5-star athlete Treyaun Webb released his Top 3 programs, including Ohio State in the mix. The other two to be mentioned were Georgia and Oklahoma. Webb’s list was narrowed down from 44 total offers.

Seven other B1G schools extended offers but were not included as finalists. Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Penn State and Wisconsin all showed interest in Webb.
Per 247Sports, Webb was an All First-Coast honorable mention in 2020 after missing a majority of the previous season due to a broken arm. He is ranked as the No. 34 overall prospect in the class and is the No. 7 player out of Florida.
Webb recently took a visit to Ohio State, likely a big reason he included the Buckeyes in his Top 3.
