Dwayne Haskins appeared to drop a hint about his future plans prior to Saturday night’s Heisman Trophy presentation. But breathe easy, Ohio State fans — at least temporarily — the star quarterback still hasn’t made a decision.

Saturday afternoon, Haskins sent out a tweet that led several to believe he had already made his decision to part ways with the Buckeyes and pursue a future in the NFL. According to Dan Hope of Eleven Warriors, that is not the case.

“No matter what Buckeye Nation, it’s been a blast being your quarterback,” Haskins wrote on Twitter. “Win or lose tonight, my dreams have been achieved. Thank you for your unwavering support and Go Bucks.”

According to Hope, Haskins still hasn’t made a decision and plans to make a decision after Ohio Sate’s Rose Bowl matchup against Washington on Jan. 1.

Haskins led the nation in passing yards (4,580) and passing touchdowns (47) this season while completing over 70 percent of his passes. He accounted for 51 total touchdowns on the year.

Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray was named the Heisman Trophy winner for the 2018 season. Haskins finished third, as Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa received the second-most votes.

Though Haskins hasn’t officially made his decision, he’s considered to be one of the top quarterbacks for the 2019 NFL Draft.

Haskins said that Urban Meyer’s decision to retire will not have an impact on his decision.
