He spoke with reporters earlier this week and talked about what is right in front of him, as well as his future.
“We’re not done breaking records yet through. Honestly, it’s been a lot of fun dealing with these guys. I remember when I was a young pup and these guys were the older guys getting me ready for practice and for games. And it’s been a lot of growth and experience over this season and it’s been a lot of fun being able to go out there and play every Saturday despite the distractions, despite all the things that went on off the field. But on the field, we had a blast.”
He was asked what it would be like to leave Ohio State:
“Extremely hard. It’s been a dream of mine to play here for a long time and it’s been a blessing to be a part of this team, part of this university, part of my teammates and that will be a hard decision to make. But I’m just decided to finish off the season strong.”
Ohio State-Washington will play in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1.
