This broke the franchise record of most receiving yards in a rookie season previously owned by Keyshawn Johnson (844).

Wilson was drafted by the Jets in the first round (10th overall pick) in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Ohio State. He was the second wide receiver to be drafted in the 2022 Draft, two picks behind USC’s Drake London to the Atlanta Falcons.
